Since March, at least 30 homes and businesses in the Corrola, N.C. area have been broken into.
Currituck County investigators last week arrested 24-year-old Curis Conant, a maintenance worker at a rental company who they say had access to many beach cottages.

On Tuesday, authorities announced a second arrest - Michael Thomas Gray, 23, of Barco, N.C.
A warrant has been obtained for a third person.
The common missing items were televisions, often expensive flat screen or plasma TVs.
Residents said they thought it was an "inside job."
"Someone had just put in a new television into a rental home and he came back a few days later and it was gone and he assumed it must've been someone who worked for his rental company,” said store owner Carla Gazzola.
Authorities say the stolen property is worth about $250,000.
Several items taken during a burglary in Currituck County and Corolla have been recovered.
Authorities aren't releasing information on how the two suspects are known to each other.
