According to Sevier County Sheriff Ron Seals a Sevierville man was arrested for Manufacturing Marijuana. On July 6, 2007 in the early morning hours, Deputies from the Sevier County Sheriff's Department answered a medical call at 2544 Chester Mountain Rd in Sevierville.

When Deputies Blaine Lewis and Bill Miller from the Sevier County Sheriff's Department where attempting to make contact with the homeowner they found 21 Marijuana plants growing in a plastic childs pool behind the home.

The Deputies arrested Christopher Trevor Dalton (51) from 2544 Chester Mountain Rd. in Sevierville for Manufacturing Marijuana. He is in Sevier County Jail pending an August 3, 2007 court appearance.

I wonder how one "manufactures" the weed??
I would think the only things to do with it are grow, harvest, dry, sell and smoke. I guess it's the wording of some law that only lawyers can understand.
