Police officers described on Wednesday their 2005 stakeout of a car belonging to a 75-year-old woman who was found killed in her home and a foot chase that led to the arrest of a man who was said to have done yard work for her.
Testifying in the trial of Donald C. Lowry , the officers said they saw a man lean inside the driver’s side door, make a wiping motion around the interior, then close the door, pull on the handle, look around and walk quickly away.
